    there are some of you doing some CB ... i thought i would do some too

    bought a 10lb loin for $1.48 lb nice buy at sams club

    brought it home and cut some thick chops that i have sitting in teriayki sauce now and will get smoked later

    but i cut the rest in 2 pcs and some TQ , BS , CBP , OP , GP and little Maple Syurp about 10 days in the fridge then on the smoker for some more bacon...yumm cant wait

    Oh la la Mike!
    It looks like your off to a wonderful start... now the WAIT! (tapping nails on the table) Argh, I hate the wait! Got 3 in the freezer... perhaps I will jump on the CB train too this weekend! :)

      Nice price on the loin mike. Im assuming that coming from Sams, its an enhanced pork product. Let us know how that turns out for ya. I been passin up good prices on enhanced pork loins. When I do my first CB its gonna be fresh pork so Ill be payin a little more...

        Great price on the loins there Mike...... CB is so good & so easy, just that darn waiting period.. We need to have someone on here invent SUPER TENDER QUICK, that cures completely in 10 minutes.

        Now about the thick cut chops marinating in teriyaki...... Then onto the smoker?..... Fill us in, sounds good.

              I don't think Sam's has any enhanced product. These are all cryo-vac pacs with no labeling that indicates any additives. At least here in the west, Sam's has some of the best meat.

                well i waited 9 days and thought i better smoke these now , wont have time this week or weekend....so i did and here we go....only took a pic of the bigger one .....

                then fried and we had CBLT on Toasted Wheat Bread and Homecut Fries for dinner tonight




                i agree with everyone else..this is by far the easiest thing to do and the after product is so much better than commerical ...the only downside is the wait but it is soo good.....the CBLT sandwich was just pure heaven and i recommend anybody to try this and see if they have had a better BLT....already thinkin i need to get another loin going i dont think this will last for another week or two....
