  • Got a new toy...

I'm off all week so I went looking for a new grinder. My old one is on it's last legs. I only do sausage once a year in February but this place is getting to me. Time to step it up a bit, so here is the new addition to my family.

They were $360.00 up here I waited for them to go on sale Capt. The new model is coming out and they are hard to find. I drove to Toronto last week to buy one and when I got there, they were all gone. (Bummer). Found this one at my local hardware store 2 miles from my house (Go figure). On sale for $169.00 Had to buy it. My wife says no Christmas presents for me. Oh well, I got my grinder. I think they are on sale all over North America. Very heavy duty with a reverse, great machine and true 450 watt with 5 year warranty. Model #(Waring Pro MG 800)...

Good deal Zeek. What is the sausage of choice in february?. I just used an enterprize stuffer today for the first time. It seemed a bit awkward at first cause I was so used to using my little grind and stuff for so many years.
