  • BBQ Tongs

One thing I cant stand is a pair of tongs that wimp out on you when trying to flip meat. Another issue is the dexterity of the tongs. While at Menards Saturday I ran into a set of these. with exception of the jaws. The ones I bought had a round scalloped jaw as opposed to the straight jaws in the link.

These are some awsome tongs!!! The best part was I only paid $4 for them!
They only had one pair (16") and I grabbed em up & played with them for a while. That was it. In the cart they went. I went home with my new found toy and proceeded to turn over everything in site,,, well, on the coffe table anways demonstrating the dexterity I mentioned. While I was only goofing off, I flipped over pill bottles, the remote control and even a hair pin.
TWICE, just to prove it wasn't luck..

I love those tongs! I think they're the coolest thing since silly putty.....

I can see the use of these... but I don't think they gonna work with a brisket or a full slab near doneness... need a longer "grasp", no?

I picked up my wifes purse and handed it to her...

these are seriously strong, I kid you not. They open plenty wide enough with about a 6" throat. I'd figure they could flip over 5 lbs or so without too much trouble.

Need to take those over to the pick up joint around the corner. LLL They do have a nice design to them, I'll have to look for some of those. Thanks for the link as well.

I had a set of those awhile back. Bought them at Sportsman's Warehouse. I haven't seen them in a couple of years so may have to get a new set. Thanks for the reminder.

Those tongs are GREAT! I use mine primarily to move around hot charcoal, kind of fine tuning the fire, you know.
