Fishawn, OK Help me on this. Do you just stick it and it works? (Sorry Honey, I had to ask it!) Do you have one and how do you like it? Will the temp change rapidly if you insert to 1\4" and then continue on towards the middle?

I am still a digital Taylor user but this looks great. I have had a couple of probe failures in the last 2-3 years. I have heard of them but just haven't followed up on any info till now.

JJB,,, I do not have a Thermopen, but quite a few folks on here do and they seem to like them a lot. I have a Thermoworks regular thermo. Just had a probe quit and they shipped a free replacement immediately. Hope Santa brings me a Thermapen!

I just got mine in the mail today, it's red, not that it matters LOL. I finally broke down and bought one and look forward to using it.
