  • Two Kinds of Wings

I finally got around to doing some wings on the drum. Did some using Abelman's Orange Marmalade/Srirachia Sauce recipe and some with teriyaki (the women folk don't like heat).

Drum was cruising along at about 325°. Dipped them after an hour, then dipped them again 15 minutes later and took them off 15 minutes after that.

Here they are just about to come off. Teriyaki in the back and the orange/srirachia up front.

    and in the bowls. Srirachia

    and teriyaki.

They came out pretty darn good. There's not too many left. Went nicely with leftovers from Christmas dinner for dinner tonight.

    Thanks for looking.

I must be the only one left who hasn't smoked wings.
Dave them wings look great, but you'll need to make a few more if I'm coming to dinner.

Mmm..... Funny you did those tonight.... I went to my local store that always has wings & wanted to do the Sriracha Wings also for the football game. They were all out of wings!..... I settled for the Srirach Pork Sausages instead... My nose is still running! ... Love the stuff !

          Nice Work, they look perfect!

TOM: Smoked Wings are a thing of beauty & the Sriracha is good stuff on em.

I was thinking drumsticks would be good -- or even thighs. (No muffin pan though. )

I'm gonna have to bump up the amount of Srirachia sauce next time though. Could have used a bit more heat.
