  • V-day Venison Loaf of Love

    this is the loaf of love... aptly named I thought... we loved it... it's a venison fatty... rolled out flat, filled with ricotta cheese, calamata olives, mushrooms, green onions, and asparagus that had been sauteed in seasame oil... this item was smoked before the purchase of the camera, please excuse me...



    here it is sliced up...



    there were no broken hearts that night...

    but I would suggest grated mozzarella along with the ricotta... I will do that next time...

        thanks kev... the olives did not come out quite like we had planned... I forgot and got them with pits... so anyways... were suppose to be heart shaped... didn't work out really... but got a few more tricks up my sleaves still... still working out the kinks on the new camera... plus trying to pack for my fishing trip coming up tomorrow... Feb. is always a busy month for me... well, from the end of jan really to mid march... thanks for the comments and points... I'll have better pics and more of the process in the future...
