  • We got her going now

    Charcoal pan modification

    add some moink balls

    add some ABT's

I'm having a hard time getting her up to temp. Its running at 200F so I added more charcoal. Its too cold out. ABT's are a mix of different peppers, Just a mater of time until they are cooked.

we are getting up there now.

Wow. Big Guy all looks great. Can't wait to see the outcome. I would drill alot more holes in that puppy. All the best...

That was the problem I had with my Brinkman, even with mods. Got rid of it and never looked back. Good looking moinks and ABTs though.

Looks like a great start. I think you may need even more holes for better air flow in that charcoal pan to get the temps you want. I have even seen some people replace that pan with a "grill wok" for lots of air flow.

Thanks, I'll keep my eyes open for a grill wok of the right size.

I thought ya had the solid pan... I got worried I gave some bogus advice here... phew! 230's a good general purpose temp. If yer doing poultry, you might want 50° more, but...nice!

Looks great. Sometimes we just run out of ammo. Nice placement though.
