I have this grinder. It does work well however I believe I am ready to upgrade to a quieter model. This one works but is loud and not as powerful as I want.

That being said for $99 for as often as I use it, my wife tells me I am to stay with the unit I have and not upgrade.

Far be it from me to argue with someone elses wife but personally I feel you need to think BIGGER, FASTER, BETTER!!

Your gonna want something that will chew it up and spit it out faster than you can stuff it....Yeah,, thats the ticket!

            None are lead, are they?

It's a light duty grinder. I have a similar one. Be gentle, keep blade/plate in tune and they will work.

I have one.... it works great.... T-H has had one for 10+ years I think it is now...... I do 5# - 10# batches.... works great...... Too Loud?..... I'm typically not doing anything else while grinding meat, but.... well.... grinding meat.... Maybe a larger motor unit would produce less noise while grinding?

Yep, worth every penny. That's 39 Lbs. of pork in the pic. 22 Lbs. of vension went through it right before that. Never skipped a beat. It might be a little loud, and not as fast as the big one we use for deer processing, but I'm not complaining. Beats a hand grinder any day.

Not bad, it's now on sale for $99 but to me shipping would be just over $15 which isn't bad but guess I'll just stick with my other grinder, although it isn't electric...
