Sometimes you just really want a burger!!

Sorry, nothing fancy here, just 2lbs of ground round the wife got out of the freezer this morning. Pattied up, seasoned with kosher salt and black pepper. Grilled over R.O lump. Melted some pepper jack on top and toasted up some buttered buns.
Have to say these tasted great. Sometimes simple is real good

Toasting the buns, I added a couple of my bangers while the grill was still hot. Hving a problem with shrinkage, must of been the cold .

Just what i thought, normally have to be careful where you set down a hot chimney, not this time. Also i didn't have to worry so much about the dogs knocking the weber over later. You can't see it too well but the snow in this part of the yard has drifted up to deck height, 30".

Living up here you kinda get used to it. In DesMoines they are having some winter games soon. Includes, softball, football, snow biking, polar plunge and a bunch of other stuff. Here's a link to the events http://dmwintergames.com/

This is the worst winter i've seen here for snow. Yesterday we broke the record for having more than 5" snow on the ground for 60 consecutive days. We have more snow coming Friday and it aint going to melt anytime soon either. Just gotta get on with stuff and make the most of it

Nice .....some times you just gotta. Did you make the bangers yourself? I just made my first bangers about a month ago...Man they are good. what recipe did you use. I have no other knowledge about them to compare mine to anything.
