    Baked Steak with Biscuits & Gravy Smoke

    I smoked some baked steak and biscuits for supper last night.... made extra for use this week.

    I seasoned, floured and lightly fried the tenderized steaks...







    Made creamy pan gravy with the drippings...



    Rehydrated some morels.....



    Topped the steaks with the gravy, morels and a few sliced onions...



    Made some biscuits and split open a couple of tatoes....added jalapeno bacon, sliced onion, butter and seasonings to the tatoes....



    Loaded into my drum...



    Had a coors light...



    The smokey baked steak with morels, biscuits and gravy, jalapeno bacon stuffed tato, and salad....




    It was pretty tasty, the steak had a nice smoke ring. I had a biscuit for breakfast this morning with some of my smoked honey. :)

        Damnit Jeanie, you just reminded me that I haven't been able to find somewhere to hunt shrooms since I've lived in Kentucky.

                I hear ya V, it musta really sucked. She didn't even want to share it. I don't know how anyone could eat that stuff!:ballchain:
