  • Egg Foo Yumm

Ok, that's what I wanted to call this, but it really needed more flavor. So I am just throwing out the idea for anyone that has thee recipe for this Chinese dish. It was my sons 35th Birthday yesterday, but we all got together Sunday and made and all Chinese menu. We had Egg Foo Yung, Chicken fried rice, Egg drop soup and some little Stuffed WonTons. I took alot of pic's but am afraid to upload to many at this time because my wife overused the Kilobytes again on the sprint card. Two months ago the bill was $30.00 bucks more than the payment and this last month, $118.00 extra, work is slow so she has to go to FFA Farmville Fanatics Anonymous.

Here are the ingredients for the egg foo yung all chopped. Celery, green onions, mushrooms and bean sprouts along with the smoked pulled pork and some pulled chicken breast all topped with a cornstarch gravy.

    And the whole meal.

We ate alot of eggs as every dish had them in there, 17 in all. Well I'm sure someone can improve on this and could use smoked meat in all the dishes. really.

Throw in some sriracha sauce and I'm in. Hell, I'm in without it

                        looks great :-)

Did you put the mix in with the eggs ?
When i get the house special foo yung from my local takeaway. It's sort of a brick shaped spanish omelette with all good things in it.
Never had it anywhere else so have no idea if it's done differently elsewhere.

You could have used some plum sauce in the mix for the extra flavour - that's good stuff - recipe (from ken I think) in the sauces section.
Fruity, spicy, humoungous garlic hit: would work great with your foo yung mix :-)
