    Alex from across the pond mentioned pancake day and i have had them on this day all my 40 years....


    Apple with lemon juice,nutmeg,cinnamon and sugar










    Love my old nutmeg grate box





    Thawed out some of my pepper sausage








    Liquids with some flour with baking powder and soda..











    40 year old pancake flat....Sure miss the pre-china days...







    Triple stack apple pancakes with maple syrup....Happy pancake,shrove or fat tuesday folks....

          Damn Alex, I just got done eating tostadas again for dinner and I could use a couple of them for deesert. Sausage looks Great too!. And Oh yea, the fresh grated nutmeg.

            Looks good Alex. A stack of those with a fresh egg between each one and real maple syrup would be quite tasty for any meal.

                Oh Yeah, that looks good, Alex. I had some more of my buttermilk pancakes this morning with my wife's homemade cherry syrup. I'd better quit that, I'm becoming a lardass!

                  mercy that looks good.
                  we have been into french toast for some time now. use the texas toast kinda thick.
                  will have to give pancakes a whirl some time in the near future.

                          I have never cooked them before adding to batter...I do let them sit in the lemon juice,cinnamon,nutmeg and sugar about 30 minutes.They are soft with a bit of crunch after pancake is cooked.
