  • Great pot of Beans

    put in the crockpot today navy beans and some leftover smoked sausage and smoked ham from a previous smoke.....wife did some cornbread...came home from work and the whole house smells good....gettin ready to have me a bowl , boy you sure can smell the smokiness .....

                    Fine looking grub, Mike.

                    I grew up eating beans, taters, and corn bread - still love it. If we had left over corn bread, mom would crumb it up, toast it under the broiler and that was breakfast - corn bread cereal.

                            Awesome stuff man!
                            I did the meat and seasoning boil yesterday with leftovers from the grill, and then I froze the pot. I'll add the beans Saturday. Nuthin better than what we lovingly call Garbage Beans, Yours looks exactly like mine will, come Saturday.
                            I am jealous of the corn bread, nice work.
