  • My Wifes Pico De Gallo

This has been a long time coming. This always gets rave reviews from anyone that eats it. My wife hails from Cuernavaca Morelos and this is the pico from down there.

    3 bundles radishes
    9 medium tomatoes
3 to 4 juice from lemons
    1 medium cabbage
    2 bundles cilantro
2 to 3 jalapenos (more if you like it hot)
    1 onion
    salt to taste

    1. cut and cube up all ingredients except salt and lemon of course

    2. run all through food processor (rough chop if you like)

    3. combine in bowl and add lemon juice and salt to taste. You will not be disappointed with this.

    in the beginning

    radish's through the processor

    tomatoes through

    cabbage before and after

    jalaps and cilantro

ready to mix with lemon and salt

    finished

Sure does look and tasty. But what do you do with it now, eat on chips like salsa, or a salad or maybe even a sauce to top meat or what ever you want to do with it?? Copied and awaiting your instructions.

I don't think you taste the cabbage in this.. Not that raw cabbage has a lot of flavor.. It would add texture and crunch to it tho...

thanks everyone for the points first off.....second we use it mainly for dip with some chips...you can garnish tacos with it...what ever you want to do...I think the cabbage and the radishes are what set this apart from your run of the mill pico..

I don't like Pico or anything else that has fresh tomatoe in it ... but I WOULD try that!
