Here's my little 20 X 5 raised garden that Andy made for me last year. A few weeks ago I sowed some green beans, peas, and radish seeds, along with some onion sets. A few days later, I planted a few tomato, squash, cucumber, and pepper plants.
I try to get the most with what little space I have. Since it's a small garden, I buy my tomato, pepper, squash and cucumbers as plants because I could never use all the seeds that come in a packet.
Here's my 3 pepper plants, one bell, one banana and one jalapeno. This will be plenty of peppers for the 2 of us.
3 tomato plants, one Better Boy, one Cherry and one Early Girl. I would love to have a Mr. Stripey, too, but don't really have the space.
A few onions and the radishes to the right.
Here are the peas and green beans at about 3 weeks after sowing. Once the peas produce and are finished, I'll pull up those plants and plant more green beans.
This year I decided to try planting cucumbers in the upside down "Patio Garden" planter that really didn't work last year for tomatoes.
And here's the only critter I have to worry about keeping out of the garden. This is Honey, or sometimes we call her Bunny or Bunny Bread.
Thanks for looking at my little garden
