These things were so good, it's worthy of it's own post. I've done many combos, but none compare to this one.
Found this Tone's Southwest Chipotle seasoning at a discount store the other day. Haven't seen it around here before. For the price I couldn't pass it up and figured I'd try it on something. Spotted some portabella mushrooms when I was at the store picking up a few things, and the wheels started spinning.
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
1 can of crab meat
2 or 3 healthy dashes of Tone's Southwest Chipotle seasoning
Stuffed the caps and wrapped a half a strip of bacon over them. In the smoker for a couple of hours. No they're not burned, just the cellphone pic.
The smoker was stuffed and had no room for anything else, but I had about half of the filling left. So I threw some ABTs together along with some taters for a salad this week. Will come out shortly. Still stuffed from dinner, but I'm gonna try them anyway. Hehe.
