Cooking dinners in foil "pouch's" has been around for many years & almost anything you can imagine has been cooked in them..... Feel free to add your favorite(s) to this thread..... I have a couple others, but will keep them secret for now, so some others can chime in..... :sausage:...... This one has 3 Tilapia Loins, cut up into about 1/3" strips (to help cook faster, about the size of the shrimp), 16 peeled & deveined shrimp, 1 full Lemon cut into about 8-10 slices, 2 Large fresh Garlic cloves run through a press, Kosher Salt, CBP & Cilantro to taste & about 2 T real Butter broke into chunks & applied on to the Fish/Shrimp evenly..... I use Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty Aluminum foil..... Spray the bottom of the foil with Pam (or whatever non-stick you use).... put your ingredients in & seal tightly..... This took about 20 minutes on a pre-heated Med-Low Gas grill..... Desert's can also be done this way.... :faint:.... Just a fairly different way to do some Seafood I thought I would post for y'all to see.

Loaded up.....Real Butter on top :thumb:

Oh yeah, looks great. Easy way to make dinner. Never got real creative with those. Maybe I should.

Just your regular hobo dinner. Usually when camping. Ground venison or beef, potatoes, onions and sometimes carrots. Butter and seasonings. Kids liked to use brats or hotdogs too.

Damn nice seafood, Scott!

I cook a lot of potatos in a foil pouch. Diced, seasoned, couple of ice cubes for moisture. 15 minutes per side on a low grill - turns out every time.

Oooohhh yeah!! :thumb: :thumb:

I love cooking "hobo" style! I did something similar on my Weber charcoal grill, except the last ten minutes or so, I tossed a chunk of cherry wood on the coals and I opened the foil. It gave it a nice mild, smokey flavor...
