  • Chrizo!!!

    Well today was the day..

I am pretty disapointed with the meat I bought, It was tyson and not up to par in my opinion but I have 75 lbs and it isin't rotten so I made sausage out of some of it.

Started off with the cabelas kit, Little too tame for me, so added some cyanne and chilli powder. Made it much better... So here are some pix for proof.

I need to buy more casings....

Few pix of sausage of my helper,,, the Foodsaver worked good,,, and I didn ot run out of ritas!!!

Looks good, Jeff. Your daughter is adorable. I'm glad you finally got a chance to get the chorizo done. You've been planning on making it for quite a while now.

thanks I was definately more aquainted with the blender than the Grinder. Takes as long to blend as it did to grind 37 lb...

All and all the cabelas kit was darn good, I found this morning that the 15 lb (Bulk) that I added the spices to was probably fine before I added the spice.. But now it is plenty spicy for my chrizo and eggs!!!

Hanna was great help once I got her to understand not getting into the meat...
