  • Spatchcocked Injected Weber Kettle Cuban Mojo Hunky Chicken

Love the kettle.... This is a new Marinade I have never used, called Cuban Mojo something...... It had a pretty good taste, with the Chile's most noticeable..... Injected it with the Cuban Mojo & rubbed with Mad Hunky..... Indirect on the kettle.... A couple of burgers for the kids & the wife unit..... They were hungry.... I decided not to ruin my Saturday night grilling beer buzz & eat when the chicken was done...

    The Injection....

    After shooting up the bird.....

Just getting started...... cruising along at 290* on the grill thermo with some burgers....

Chicken turned out Great, probably one of the best I have done ...... Love the injection process & the flavor it gives the bird & the Mad Hunky was great as the rub..... I added about 10 briquettes when I thought it was getting about 70% done & it kicked the heat up to about 325* to finish the cook.... The skin was crispy & the chicken pretty much fell apart at the joints & was ultra juicy.... I REALLY like cooking chicken this way

        Just pulled off

        Cut up for serving

          Wow, the chicken looks great.

Looks like you're becoming quite a Weber virtuoso. Quite a stream of good looking food coming off of there lately.

you do have a talent for some long and interesting titles, I just know whose thread it's going to be :-)

Some fine looking chicken too, but you can have for the weird and wonderful thread titles
