  • Pickling Eggs With Cured Sausages?

In the process of making some spicy pickled eggs......... & thought..... I have made T-H's pickled sausages before & loved em.... BUT..... Can I put both peeled hard boiled eggs..... AND.....cured & cooked/smoked sausages into the same brine?..... Or am I gonna end up with Pollywogs?

I don't see why not. You will likely end up with some smoke taste in the eggs, tho. Not a bad thing.

I used to put boiled eggs in with the pickled bologna and they came out good. Only one side effect, but we won't get into that here!

Pickled eggs should be banned by the geneva convention.

Other than they lead to massive erosion of the ozone layer, can't think of any reason why you can't pickle sausages and eggs together

Now that's like asking a Kennedy what he did las night.....

I really don't keep track of ingredients on stuff like this, but taste it as I am mixing it up.. .....But to the best of my recollection......Started with regular Dill pickle juice, added 1/2 a dice White Onion, 5 large Garlic cloves diced, Soy sauce, Worstechire, Jalapeno Tabasco, Tabasco, Jalapeno salt, White sugar, Pepper flakes, more Vinegar & Chili/Lime seasoning....
