i know it's not really a side, but... it still tastes good. lol

white bread, spaghetti sauce, cheese, and any other desired toppings.

    assemble as desired:

toss in the oven at around 275 or 300 (it varies with exact bread types, toppings, etc) and let it cook to the desired "done-ness"

makes a great, quick, easy dinner. they are rather filling too, so don't get too excited and turn a whole loaf of bread into these things... you'll regret it. lol

We made these camping in the cast iron hobo pie maker with another slice of bread on top. Great stuff!

ooooooooooooooo... hobo pies... one of my favorite... I always coated the bread in enough butter to almost fry them and pack them full of fruit pie filling. top with powdered sugar and inhale.

Well kiss my ass and call me lucky.......LOLOL.....just today, at another site, they was talking about pizza using muffins, and thought to myself, a great idea for my grandkids next visit.

BTW, the thread was about holes in one, eggs in a basket, one eyed susans, toad in the holes, popeyed toast, funny toast. Cut a hole in the middle of a piece of bread, and crack a egg into the center of it.....then flip........
