      bring it on!

      I know there are tons of guys who travel - and far for comps.

      This is not KCBS sanctioned, so no points, but cash and a ton of fun. And you can sell your Q.

        we might have to go to that.it's only 1.5 hrs from here.
        brink vertical charcoal(the carp)
        18" old smokey charcoal grill/smoker
        cast iron Hibachi
        22" Kettle w/ "Smoke-EZ" styled riser extension
        & rotisserator
        12x7 wells cargo vending trailer(mods in progress)
        stuffer,slicer & more carp than i can fit in it...
        Marshall amps & various awesome guitars,drums,P.A.,etc.recording studio.....

            If it wasn't a 16 or 17 hour drive that I know I'm not making...I can still talk a little trash though.

                well team name is a confusing subject. we haven't had the ablls yet to make a final decision, so we go by:

                we all like the Lucky Dog BBQ name, but a buddy doesn't. What do you think?

                We'll be the one with the 108 Lang tandem axle. I'm always looking like a BBQ guy and my wife is blonde and has big briskets.

                    You must be a restaurant to sell food.

                    ie: you have to have a health dept license.

                      nope. you can be sponsored by a restaurant --- or you can just vend as a caterer. and a one day event is exempt from Health Dept inspection.

                      Food safety is advised, but no permits in KY for one day events.

                          that must be a county thing. in our county you have to be inspected even for a 1 day event and your cooker has to be fully enclosed-i.e. screened in.

                          i'm not competing.we're just going to check it out & hear the band-depending on the weather.

                            Agreed - but only scary if it is a ding-dong person who doesn't care about Food safety.

                            40-140 = bad. Cold or hot = good.
