I can smell the fresh cucumber aroma as you peel that hummer! Wish I had that for my salad.

Huh! My wife just tried to drag me to the bedroom. I had to tell her it's not mine.

Damn, Alex - that's a home recker for sure!

Love your fence idea... hmmm... may have to try that next year as I have some space issues when it comes to big sprawling plants like cukes, pumpkins, mellons, etc.

Will any cucumber vine up, or is that a special variety?

Pretty sure most vine up Tracey....Not 100% sure.......

This is Orient Express from burpee...Not a pickler, but i havent been pickling much last few years and i just eat these with a dip or salads etc....and give rest away. That fence has produced 50 plus easily so far from 6 seeds i planted.....I just dig up the two posts and place whole rig in storage area....

That fence is 6' wide x 8' tall....Seems to help with air circulation in preventing powdery mildew etc..when the heat and humidity comes on(like now).... in these parts we get heavy dews in morning and such.

I dont really need to save space, but it keeps them in a neat, accessible area and has worked real well all these years...
