  • Where I cook Pizza when it's 105*!

It has been hotter than Bajezus here in Western Colorado... so when I suggested we cook up a pizza, the Mrs's threw a fit about heating up the house... hmmm....

    NO PROBLEM I SAYS!

Heated up the grill to 400*, then turned the middle burner to low and left the two outside ones on med-low. Sat the pan on a double layer of foil, and let'er rock!

I did rotate it two times through the bake and it turned out great! Not a WFO pizza by any means... but damn fine by my standards. Kicked meself in the arse for not adding some hickory dust... NEXT TIME!

If you have a good grill and can control the temps, they make a great alternative in the summer time for these sorts of things... and they keep my wife happy!

Thanks for checking out my post!

Excellent looking pizza, Walle. Love the gas grill for the same reasons.

Yes, it is. 105 is too hot to do anything.

That looks damn fine. I don't do pizza at home near enough. Too easy to order out, but theres only one establishment around here worth ordering from (locally owned). This might kickstart me a bit.

Fine looking pizza, Tracey. I'm glad I wasn't here for the 105 degrees. It was only 102 at Lake Powell!
