  • Buckboard Bacon

    Yesterday i smoked a 4 pound Buckboard bacon I used the Hi mountain seasoning and cured it for 10 days I smoked it using Apple I have not tried it but it looks great




    Happyness is a full smoker

    That look fabulous.
    My wife just got home with 6 butts from a small local grocer. I'm getting ready to start curing today.

            Mark it is made from Pork Butt and it is great stuff go to www.himtnjerky.com and check out the buckboard bacon cure it is very easy to make and tastes great

                    That is some really nice looking BBB. With all that fat marbling through there that should fry up an taste great. Gonna have to check the ads to see if any butts are on sale around here. I've still got some High Mountain in the stash right now too.
                    Great work on what I assume to be your first BBB. I'm sure you will enjoy it!
