FYI for you non-competing folk... what happened here is Phil was disqualified for not putting enough pieces of meat (right?) in the box. You need to have 6 SEPARATE IDENTIFIABLE pieces, and no doubt what happened...a judge grabbed a slice, and another- or 2... came with it. Judges are NOT allowed to shake/pull apart... instant DQ. SUCKS... sorry Phil - my heart goes out to ya.

Yeah, it sucked that I pulled a rookie mistake like that... butt, I got over it and life goes on. I re-read the rules, and what happens is the judges automatically score everything as 1 point, regardless of the taste and other criteria.

I'll never do that again...
