I think folks see a new member signed up and start a welcome thread for him. The new member never started the thread, so all you see is folks saying hello and welcome. Could kinda looks like the first introduction post is missing.

that is exactly it, i started that post welcoming coach, i had thought about asking the same question but its the way its been going from the beginning if you look the very first posts in this section of forum were all like that. when coach sent me a pm i figgured i would go ahead and welcome him in hoping to get him start posting. many have an intro post started by the member , and also another started by someone else. somewhat unorganized maybe, but seemed to be the acceptted way to do it here.

I like the "pro-active" approach Ken has taken in welcoming new folks. It CAN be confusing, especially since the "other place" was different. I know..as the retired "Roll Call Police"

But think on it..altho perhaps confusing, a new guy logs in and sees all these welcomes... it's gotta be a good thing, right?

Ken, i wonder if these guys are joining for the reasons you and I talked about on the phone !
