Well I put my 500 gallon smoker on hold. I did not get my welder and did not want to pay someone to weld it. Well I figured since I had a arc welder I would take the arc class at my college and get r done NOW well over a few months.


thinking slowly do it and have it right, hoping for it to be done around may when I start smoking and get the hang of it for a whole hog smoke in july for the 4th.

I am using a 500 gallon propane tank and thinking 2x2 for the fire box and insulate it with some ceramic insulation I found online. Does that sound about the right size?

Also going reverse flow on it which might be alittle much for my first build but ohh well
