These 2 were not hard to decide about. I love this egg bread. It tastes awesome, stays fresh for a good while, and they look beautiful.
Both are 6 strand braids. Cheryl wanted 1 long flat-ish loaf and 1 round-ish loaf, so that's what I did.

Round loaf with sesame seeds.

Long flat-ish loaf with poppy seeds.

And we gotta have a slice with butter and honey. Mmmmmmmmmmmm

After we get home from evening worship service, I'll post up an awesome grilled pastrami and sourdough sandwich.

about this recipe that I call Bassman#1 Jalapeno Chedar bread?? :nana2:

I'll have to chaulk this up to a slow smoke day..
Mixed up a batch of BM#1 and had to do the Jap and Cheddar thingy.

Proofed once before adding the Japs, Cheddar, garlic salt and jap salt because at 5:00 this morning, I couldn't find the Japs in the garden!

Egg washed with a little smoked jap salt...

Second proof

Outta the oven

This plus a couple a cackle berries will be my breakfast!

Thanks for checking out my slow smoke day post!
