    I cured some meat last week I did 8 pounds of Ground venison Bacon I used PS Seasoning cure packet for this and it turned out ok I used 50/50 elk and pork butt


    I did 4 pounds of Canadian Bacon I used pork loin and Tenderquick and white sugar this turned out pretty good next time i will try brown sugar


    I did 4 pounds of Elk Pastrami this turned out great i used cowgirl's recipe



    i did 5 pounds of buckboard Bacon it is still in the cure will post pics when i get it done all meats where smoked with apple

                  Click on one of the pix and then you can scroll through them in a larger size. What's a real teaser is when someone posts thumbnail sized pix that do nothing when I click on em. Then I zoom in on the pix but it usually just makes them look fuzzy.

                      What can I say Huey? Great job! I'd steal....err...I mean taste that for ya.

                      Is that venison bacon or elk bacon? I'm confused. Have you tried Gunslinger's version?

                        Ray it is Elk bacon and it was pre mixed seasoning from PS Seasoning and no i have not tried gunny's ground meat bacon
