  • breakfast roll bacon weave stuffed thingy in the oven

ok putting this is leftovers well because couldn't really figure out where else to, and since i'm using some of my fresh bacon what they heck.

wandering around the net the other day I saw a guy do a bacon weave and put it in the oven than fill it with cheese roll it up and put it back in the oven. It looked good but thought it needed a little something.

This is what I came up with today.

    the fresh bacon

    weaved up

ah a true fattie. 1lb chub of sausage, smoked to 160 had some almonds smoking for a friend made sense to use the space with this.

    than crumbled up

while everything was cooling down I took some crescent rolls and flattened them out

put the weave ontop of it

Than started adding the other ingredients.
scrambled egg, hashbrowns, crumbled fattie, and cheese

bugger was getting a little thick

a little tricky rolling this thing, the dough was getting pretty soft.

Here she is all done and out of the oven

It turned out pretty good. My wife liked it more than I did. My friends had good timing they showed up for the almonds as I was slicing it up. only one could have some the other has (spelling) C-LEE-ACS desease.

all in all, this is a do again.

thanks for checking out my play time.

I put the weave together on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven at 400 degrees. not sure how long but when it looked about rigtht i took it out. I also put it on a frying pan a couple minutes to crisp it up a touch.
