Heres my peppers

Any advice? The jalapenos dont look happy anymore and the cayenne was taking off now it seems to have stalled, are the pots not big enough?

To me it looks like you need more dirt on those exposed roots. I would transplant them into bigger pots making sure to have at least 6 " of the stem buried. Definitely need more dirt on those roots though. What do you think, Alex?

What are ya feeding them? Peppers thrive in hot weather, I realize you are in FL but what about the night temps? The pots look big enough. Are they getting full sun?

Pots look big enough to me....The middle pepper is not planted deep enough as mentioned...I would stake them up and tie loosely to thin stake(bamboo etc..) I would pick japs off that middle one and hope plant recovers when potted deeper...

Do you have holes in bottom of pot..If so prop up pot a inch etc.off ground so pots can drain...They hate wet/saturated feet(roots)...I drill 6 or so holes in bottom of my pots...

I dont like my peppers in much below 50 degree low at night...Full sun and only water sparringly...

If you can find fish emulsion(5-1-1) that could help give a little organic boost...

What mix are they planted in????What type pepper is small one on right???

I agree Mike...If its not from way potted or cold... i have had it on rare occasion...With the yellow and spot/discoloration etc... on leaves of that jap... its prolly not long for this world....

But this pic tells it all...The leaves should be dark green...as dark as the pepper itself...Yellow leaves indicate a nutrient defeciancy...probably nitrogen...But the purple mottling of the leaves looks like a serious lack of phosphorous...This plant is starving to death...

First I would remove the fruit that is on the plant as it will send this plant to its end if allowed to ripen...remember that the only purpose for this plant in nature is to produce next years seed stock...If you let this sickened plant produce mature seed...its finished...done its job and it will die...

Second...Feed the damn thing...Feed it something organic...as Alex said, use fish imulsion at the rate directed on the instructions and then half strength every other week after that...

Hope you can save it and get some kinda harvest from it

Yes, they get full sun.

Yeah I am not sure what happened with that, the roots were covered when I planted it.

The one on the right is a jalapeno that got chopped in fu*kin half from a damn plastic chair on a windy day (god loves me lol)
Its in a premade miracle grow fertilized soil for fruits and vegs but it says not for pots in ground only didnt see that till i got home.

Do i cut the peppers off or pull them off at their base?
I thought this was gonna be a fun project but these needy little bastards are taking all the fun out of it haha
I heard peeing on them was good for them lol a friends mom used to say to pee on her peppers lol I thought she was out there man. Thanks for all the great help here. I am seeing that a home garden is more for a hobby than for cheap veggies huh? By the time you buy all these expensive fertilizers and everything it cant be saving money?
