  • "Taste The Q"

Hello fellow lovers of smoke! My name is Bill and am new to your BBQ lovin community and am happy to be here with all of you!

I am 44, happily married to a wonderful woman that not only loves me endlessly but totally (well almost totally) supports my addiction to all things smoked or Q'd. Currently I work as an operations manager at a moving and storage company in Seattle Washington and live in a small town named Orting Washington.

I am in the middle stages of getting a BBQ Catering business off the ground and have created a 3 flavor line of sauces that I have spent nearly 3 years creating and discarding various recipes but have come up with a real winner! They have gotten pretty great reviews so far and will be featured soon on the great site: http://www.smokingpit.com

When I met the founder of "smoking pit" today at "Foothills Fireplace and Grill" in Black Diamond Washington he sampled some of my "Big Pappa's BBQ Gourmet Sauce" and love, love, loved it! He is going to feature it on his web page and also told me about smoked-meat.com which I couldn't wait to join!

I am looking forward to many hours of exploring this site, corresponding with as many members as possible, and learning as much about perfecting my own style of BBQ as I can.

As I get to know some of you and get a good feel for this site I will post some of my favorite recipes and maybe do some kind of raffle for free samples of my Big Pappa's Gourmet Sauce. Tomorrow I am smoking up a nice tri-tip which I plan on using to make tri-tip dips with.

That's all for now so get to smokin everybody!!

"Taste the Q" (this is the slogan on my logos and business cards)

My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.
