Not sure how useful this is going to be in the long run - but I've just got 5gb online storage from amazon. As far as I can tell it just cmes with having an amazon account (plus my kindle is registered on the us amazon 'cos none of the goods stuff is vailable on the uk site).
Anyway just thought I'd mention it as I think it's new.
Amazon cloud drive it's called.
Hell 5gb is 5gb - wonder if I can use it to host pics like photobucket kinda thing.
I'll have a play and report back (at some point)

So it's basically amazon trying to get you to buy music from them rather than itunes. But hey, who cares it's free and potentially very useful.

No, if you have an Amazon account, you have access to 5 GB of free online storage on Amazon Cloud Drive. When you save or upload your unaltered Amazon MP3 Store purchases to your Cloud Drive, they don't take up any of your storage space and are always stored for free. If you need more storage space, paid plans are available for storage up to 1,000 GB.

For playback in the Amazon Cloud Player, two file types are supported: MP3 (.mp3) files and DRM-free AAC (.m4a) files. If your music is not in one of these compatible file formats, you will be unable to upload it to Amazon Cloud Player.
