  • National BBQ Festival Nov.4&5 (Waycross Ga)

    we are heading out Friday morning if everything goes as planned.wish us luck.I'll be cooking backyard and the boys will be cooking the kids division.my wife will not be entering the pie contest year because she has to work up until friday afternoon,she will be there but she just didnt havew the time to cook the pies and all with work so. anyway if anyone is in the area stop on by and have a beer or two.http://nationalbbqfestival.com/

                Yeah, I decided I'm no longer going to compete, unless I can be guaranteed that it will be sunny, 68*, 35%RH, with a breeze blowing from NW-SE at 3.5 mph, AND the moon must be 3/4 new, and the area must be sprayed in advance for mosquito control. Or I just ain't doing it. I hear ya Rich......

                        Ok, so i apologize to Rich T. After checking in with a few teams i guess its actually very nice with temps in the 70's.

                        You'd still have to worry about getting a sunburn though.
