  • 1st Smoked Turkey!

    First time and it was AWESOME!

    Cherry wood smoked, brined w/ Alton Browns recipie and a sprinkle of MH for that P-Zaz for 2.5 hours at 350 in my Traeger.

    Cooked to perfection, I'd show some carved pictures but it didn't last long enough!

      Nice lookin' bird man, congrats!
      Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
      My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

                    Thanks all, it was one tastly bird. Taking the carcass and making smoked turkey soup with it tomorrow. That Cherry has an incredible flavor.. I'm hooked on it!
