        Re:

That waffle iron is quite rare and collectable. They only show up here in Appalachia from time to time now.

Since it has 1910 showing at the bottom that may give you a hint.
I used to listen to my Great Grand Mother speak of making waffles in one of those
when Great Grand Dad and her first took up house keeping. Incidentally,
she hated the thing. lol But every Sunday Great Grand Dad wanted
        waffles.

Well, she said she suffered with it till Rural Electrification brought them
electric service just after the mid thirties and then they got away from the wood burning cook stove and calcium carbide generator for the gas lights.

Then Great Grand Dad found her a used electric waffle iron from the nearby town. LOL

I've got most of my Iron in the Attic for the winter now. Cooking inside.

I only have one cast iron skillet. But I put it to good use.

Made some shrimp etouffee a bit ago. Nothing beats a cast iron when making roux!

Nice collection Rob! The one on the left looks just like my Ebelskiver pan, though mine is a new non-stick version. Man, I would love to find one that's an old cast iron.

                  This what I got:

Here's most of what I have now. Coupla weeks ago I thinned the herd some. I gave some to a few friends just to make a little room. I've aquired more mostly Griswold and a few Lodge camp ovens. And two chicken fryers with lids and another cornbread pan. The ci in the big pile is waitin' for cleaning and seasoning.
