Cooked in our 4th contest over the weekend. Only 1.5 points separated us from 1st place.....if you know about contests that doesn't mean a whole lot except I think it was stiff competition. We ended up 19th out of 21.....it was fun and in my home town. Will do more and my wife said she might come out and help.....not sure about that part!!

Did you have a good time..? Im sure you did, and thats the best part of it... I hope your wife does go out with you and give it a shot... My wife did 3 years ago and she had THE best time... Talking to others and I loved the part of "did you see what they were doing??" lol

I Should Have Been Rich Instead Of Being So Good Looking -
Believe it or not...I did get that!! She came out with her brother and spent about 3 hrs with me. She went around and checked out the competition and said she was going to enhance my professional cooking experience!!! Yes, I had a ball as I usually do! No pics from us but there are pics available. My pard and I both had cameras but were into the cooking and cleaning mode alot so didn't think about them until after the turn-in. I'm going to have to make the a priority next time.Comment

Congrats Gooose!! I know you had to have a good time...
I'd like to get my wife involved in the comps, butt I have to come up with a way for her to "sleep comfortably"... which equates to spending more cash on an RV or a motel room. I can see an RV in the future however...
