I saw that at a comp...I'm thinking that for that qty I would have broken out the coffee grinder / mill that I have dedicated to spices. Load that baby up and hit the button...nothing like a fresh cbp grind!

Yeah, but you don't get consistant grain size. You get dust to half corns. Errr I do anyway.

Good call Rich. I saw Emeril had a battery operated pepper mill on a show and thought that would be handy.

I have a battery operated grider...it is cool. My dumbass BIL was using it and just grinding the hell out of that pepper...trouble is, he didn't open the bottom door and I didn't see it. I grabbed it next, and got about a tablespoon of pepper on my food the second I opened the door. Bastard.

                        lol cool.
But magic bullets are better :-)

I can do about 1/2 lb spice in about 30 seconds.
And yes it is very consistent in size.

Just a shame you can't get the hinari bullet clones over there - cheap as chips every bit as good as the bullet. (I suspect it's the same unit)

That said (just had a look) the bog standard MB set (all you need) is the same price over there as the hinaris over here.

Might seem a bit pricey for a spice grinder - but nothing else does as good as job as quickly. And if you're grinding and mixing a lot of spices - these are a seriously good investment.
