  • An Irish inspired dinner... Slainte!

    Today was lamb spares braised in Guinness with a rosemary demi glaze..
    browning the lamb spares here...

    my mirepouex...

    the star of the show before going in..excuse my Dale Jr race day nails...

    paper plated with the demi glaze and noodles...
    these are my lamb spares from the lamb that Ryan raised... this is the best lamb on the face of the earth! Love you Ry!!! xoxox the kids loved these spares!!! I have to hide lamb around here, my son is hooked on Ryan's lamb!

        I was wondering if you go to BBQ competitions just to distract the competitors? My lead cooks girlfriend has been working that angle for us. LOL Kinda funny to watch them ole boys "drop their sauce"

          No one in my house will eat lamb (or duck, or venison)...so I really like seeing these posts!

          Is that a calphalon wok I see?

          /and a kyocera ceramic knife...watch that one, those are *sharp*

            Damn,I Don't care for Lamb any way I have had it.(Chops)But I would knock the bottom out of that.Nice post,Kelly But I think that will be Belated.

                Looks great, Kelly!

                We get a home grown lamb every few years, so I know that of Ryan's has got to be awesome! Never had any braised before... wondering WHY?!

                              to bad! lamb goes quick around here both kids love it - well Ryans home grown lamb that is!
                              and good eye it is a kyocera - my last one some knucklehead tossed in the sink during a bbq and it shattered.. it was the bigger one and it had a pink handle for BC.. the problem is that it looked like a cake knife, and was the most dangerous thing in the house! I love them sharp as hell, but fragile!
