I presume you mean the kirby bucket mixer ?

couple of posts of bradley forums and smurf I'v found.

    Looks very very interesting.
    short video

having tried in vain to find out more info on smurf - looks like your best bet is to get hold of kirby. nepas one of the mods on smurf has details.
Still plenty folk here hang out at smurf - sure bear would get the details for you if you asked nicely :-)

Ah found a better thread on bradley forums.

I believe the video is from the same guy.
Ah he also sells plans for a hydraulic stuffer - maybe pikeman is kirby

WE got anyone on bradley forums (I had an account a few years back which seems to have lapsed) who can find out if pikeman is still active and if so does he have the original pics or plans for the mixer.

Hmmm don't look too complicated... other than the mixing prop itself... cool concept!

I have looked at this thread like 3-4 times... I'm not sure why anyone would want to take the time to build one and buy a 1/2 drill if they do not have one when they can buy a hand crank 20 pound meat mixer from as low as 120 bones to a 50 pound mixer for 260 bones..

I have a ss 20# mixer but I want to emulsify 10-15# batches of meat to make hot dogs and Bologna, that looks like just what I need. I have a big food processor but I get flack from miss Needles when I use her equiptment.

                    cheers merrell.

Also ken while you can mix really well in the hand crank 20lb's - It take a fair bit bit of handle turning to get it to the correct consistency - and you can't really emulsify. Plus the bucket looks a lot easier to clean and remove the sausage meat from. Plus it will hold more. Do the same job as a commercial machine costing $5000.

Plus it looks cool when people come round :-)

cool: what sort of cost, what do you actually get etc

The big drills can be had for just a few sheckels most hardware stores.
Presumably you get everything else ?
