Just put out my first 3 bushels of compost... I may have 1/2 a bushel left in the tumbler to kick start the next batch off good and hot...

Now its time to shred more junk mail... I love the post office.. Add some grass clippings and in 2 weeks I will have another 3 bushels or so..

You toss in the home bio wastes too? I remember "taking out to the compost pile" as a kid at Grandma's. Coffee grounds, eggshells, veggie scraps, garden trimmings...

I use to, but if you just use grass and shredded paper it breaks down faster... The scraps of the veggies were not broke down all the way.. Thats why it only takes two weeks in the warm Texas sun..
