  • Grape Vine Smoked Leg of Lamb on the Weber

    Took my Monday off and decided to cook for Mrs Cav's Birthday.


    Lamb with lemon juice, fresh rosemary, oregano, and garlic slivers in the leg.


    Into this pan



    A Little Grape Vine



    Pulled at 157



    Mad Hunky Pizza Shake on Zucchini


    Served with Rice Pilaf, Feta Cheese and Kalamata Olives

    Lamb looks GREAT, Rich! And, as I mentioned when we chatted this AM, I'd have never thought of the shake on veggies... but now that you went there...I can see it...with the cheeses and spcing in it...Hmm...thinking cap to you!

      Beautiful meal. I am long overdue for a lamb smoke. The stuff is so expensive now days.

        Haven't had lamb in years, and now that's going to change. What a nice looking plate! to you for sure.
        Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
        My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

              Really great looking meal, been wayyyy too long since I have had some lamb and those plated pics got me drooling
              Nice idea adding some shake to the veggies too

                              CavMan, the only reason I don't do lamb once a week is I have been unsuccessful in making the family like it. Thay have this fcuked up preposition that eating lamb is like eating Bambi (the little venison) or Toto (the little stoooooopid yappy Kansas dog). But when I ground one into some Gyro sausage a couple weeks ago, it was like I was prepositioned for some by invititation only sex. Your lamb leg looked simply ORGASMIC! to you, my man, and I wish I could give more!

                              BTW - when werre you in the Cav? I was in FHTX from 89 - 94
