From the reviews I guess it isn't the greatest quality material but for grilling works great, not so much for smoking on it though.
But Hell, for that cheap of a price I might just pick one up anyway since my old grill is, well old.
Not to mention the lid it dented and doesn't fit right from blowing over once and the grate in the bottom no longer raises

Wish I had jumped on those Stok grills when they marked them down a while back, that was one Hell of a deal!

Good price for it, but $65 for "oversize shipping"? that's a deal breaker right there. The closest store to me is in Redding, CA about 400 miles away.

I'd get one for my MIL if the shipping wasn't so outrageous.

Chit, I guess I couldn't even get it if I wanted it. Apparently the western states are S.O.L.

NOTE: This product is not available for online purchase or shipment to the following states: NV, UT, CA, WA, MT, OR, ID

Yeah that's a little too far to travel for a grill and shipping is nuts.
Got a Tractor Supply in the next town over from me, great place with all kind of cool stuff.

Here is one of the problems that kind of goes along with the "Corporate America" thread. For cryin' out loud, quit buying that cheap Chinese bullsh!t and buy American. It's not that difficult with a little bit of effort.

My mother in law has one of these but with different badging . The adjustable charcoal tray is apparently supported from one side only. One end ends up about two inches lower than the other . The overall build quality is poor. I Can tell by how leaky it is for just grilling that smoking would be a hassle. A used weber 22.5 Would b a much better purchase in my opinion.

Just got off the phone with tractor supply customer service. I told them I was looking at one of their grills and that I had a question. I asked where these were manufactured. Her response was that Redstone is there trademark name and told me the company that made them(I forgot the name) she proceeded to tell me these are made in the good ol USA. So if she was being truthful this is just another good American product that'll give you a couple of years of grilling and then be junk.

Shell thanks for the link from what I read with a couple mods it works great. Definitely would make a great starter smoker for the price.

It is a great deal. Didn't mean to come off as criticizing your post. I just have the weber bias thing going on She uses it just for grilling or more accurately watching myself, bro in law and nephew grill on it. It grills just fine and has a large grilling surface.

That's what I'd want it for grilling. Would the leaking of smoke be cured by a rope gasket? I've got a Kenmore combo grill and the charcoal side is small and leaks bad but it still turns out nice Smokey steaks, but I can only do 2 at a time. No way to fix that leak.

Just a bit of FYI for ya. I also called Tractor Supply and was told that the grill was made here as well. The grill is marketed & distributed by Future Sales Global Sourcing in Greensboro, NC. 336-292-9888. Took a bit to track these folks down and I spoke to Scotty who informed me that the grill is Made in China. Asheley @ Tractor Supply thought that since Future Sales Global Sourcing was here, that the grill was made here also. Not the case. If you think I spouted my mouth off in error, feel free to give Scotty a call and she'll confirm what I just posted.
In the majority of cases, if a product is Made in the USA, it's a huge selling point and companies are not bashful about advertising that fact on a website for a particular product. Not seeing where it was made on the Tractor Supply site was a big red flag.
                            Have a nice day.

Thanks for the info like I said in my first post I didn't know if she was being truthful with me or she just didn't know. Editing first post. I just don't see the big deal on where it is made its a great price ans if it gets people smoking is that not a good thing. I bought a $49 chargrill kettle its been pretty much classified as junk on here. But I love the thing, turned out a lot of good food. I don't get the chastising of people for buying stuff like this especially when that's all they can afford. That's why I didn't buy a Weber can't afford one.
