For a gift for my birthday I was taken to the Tigers-Texas game today. Interesting start... Verlander had a no-no going into the 6th inning... the Tigers were ahead 3-0 with 3 HITS... yes..3 solo dingers. Would have been something had that stood up! Alas and alack...did not..but Tigs still take it 5-0 :{)

Downtown has some nice sights... yeah it's rough in spots... but it still has some class...

Hehe... well- I did. Got a couple more from better devices getting emailed to me. Tiger's Stadium (Comerica park...sigh) is a beauty. Have a panoramic shot coming of the field. It's nice!

I went to Tiger Stadium the last year they played in it. Haven't been to Comerica Park yet, although I hear it's great. I'd like to make it to Target Field too, looks like a great park.

Im headed into Detroit to see the Sox play the Tigers on 8/3, hitting Michael Symons Roast for dinner pregame.

Also coming in on 7/27 - 7/28 simply to eat sliders, coneys, etc and explore Detroits food scene.

I guess if you wanna risk Q here... Slow's is the place. Get to Greektown. Couple Greek places there. I prefer the Parthenon. Guess you know of White Castle,,, like the original slider.
