  • Prime rib for my wives Grandpa's 90th birthday.

My wife's grandpa was in town for a week to visit and celebrate his 90th birthday. We decided to do a prime rib on of the nights. I finally got to try some Tatonka Dust on a prime rib and it was great. You guys know the routine so I will just show you a few shots.

    All seasoned up.

    Love cooking on the kettle.

All sliced up. It was a bit more done than I wanted but my wife and mother in law like it a bit less pink so I took it to 138 before I pulled it to rest.

Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Thanks for looking.

My mouth started watering so much while I looked at that picture I had to go eat a spoonful of creamed horseradish!
The big oak tree in my backyard ain't just for shade any more since I started smoking meat!

Ha Ha yes one is more than enough. I caught that typo a bit ago and fixed it but I can't seem to get it to update in the thread title for some reason. When I open the thread it's updated but when you are on the main forum board it still has it misspelled. Oh well.

Yes she is growing like a weed. She just turned 16 months old. Kind of hard to believe. She sure loves eating any kind of meat I cook. Especially Tri Tip! That's my girl!
