  • A New Toy and Pork Loin an Veggies

We start off the "new toy. I'm kinda getting to be a brat with my knives, but this one is special. A Shun 7" chef, it does make a difference. I didn't think it would, but it is soo sweet!

Then we get a couple of untrimmed slices of pook loin sittin in a pool of marinade.
Kind of equal parts of liquid
    Low salt soy
    Worcestershire
    honey
    white wine
    plus a tablespoon of
    minced garlic
    minces fresh ginger

Then we start sauteing the veggies, clockwise in progression.

Then we grill the meat, yeaaaa I know it on the gasser but it was rainin Seasoned with CBP, Sea Salt, and celery seed.

And all plated up for din din! Topped with fresh Pesto and pine nuts.

It's basil leaves, toasted pine nuts and olive oil, what could be wrong with that? Try it you like it! Oh.. use a blender or immersion blender!

I know what pesto is. Hell... grew up on it. But with cheese- and with pasta. Matter of fact... I'm thinking of using it on a spaghetti squash for a change. Never thought pork. Gotta wrap head aboot that...

Yea, I was surprised how thin. But sharp...don test it wit yo finger.
Take an over-ripe tomato, mushy...it will slice it.

That looks yummy, exactly my kind of meal. Regarding the Shun blade, it can be nicked along the blade edge by bone. They are great slicers but if you are doing something heavy reach for the German steel.
