  • Garlic & Pepper Marinated, Bacon Wrapped Turkey Tenderloins

My friend bought these at the same time as the stuffed beef tenderloin. Says she gets them from this meat market all the time. They're marinated, bacon wrapped, turkey tenderloins. There's three different ones. These were garlic and pepper marinated. Left them with me to try. Never had them, or heard of turkey tenderloins.

Said I'd try the blue cheese compound butter on the next baked tater. So, I did. Awesome! Tossed a slice of it on the turkey too. What the heck. Darn good.

A quick Google search, came up with pre-marintated ones. Can you buy plain turkey tenderloins? Would love to brine some in mad Hunky.

I've a;ways wanted to try these. I've seen them at the grocery. They are just as you describe marinated(but not bacon wrapped), and packed by butterball here I believe. Always thought they looked good. You certainly make them look good. Guess I better get off my ass and pull the trigger. NICE NICE COOK!

And I've seen plain boneless/skinless turkey breasts never just the tenderloin.

I gotta think... that's that hunk of meat like on a chicken breast...the one that's kinda just barely attached that always burns because of that?

Hell..I dunno..I think it's butchers or marketing types inventing more meat cuts to try to get us to buy.

Get a fresh turkey breast and strip it and go for it! those look FANTASTIC!

Thanks for the comments and points. They were really good for pre-made. I'll be looking into the tenderloin thing. Think this would be great using the Mad Hunky poultry brine.
