Issue with phone accessing Smoked-Meat.com

Didn't start getting bad till last week. I keep getting the App store for a silly game, some crap for roman world building, sometimes every 3 min or less as as I read this forum. It's some advertisement link that is a real problem. It's not even a link I see as I wander these forums on my PC or my phone. The app store will open, so I have to close, open etc. Friggin PITA. Never happen while on the PC. Other forums don't have this problem, just this one.

I don't use Tapa, it's too limited.

Please fix it, tomorrow I will call Apple and hopefully get someone that speaks 'engrish'.

I get it too. I thought I got a virus that's why I didn't say anything. It'll just all of a sudden got to play store. I hit back and it brings me back to the page. It's only this site. Not a big deal for me.

Probably the quickest way to cure all the ads..is opt for a subscription to Smoked-Meat. I think $20/Yr (Or 5.5 cents a day..) kills any ads :{)

Try deleting your history, cookies etc on your iPhone. May be a funky tracking cookie or something. Are u using safari?

Well I'm getting it too if I use my browser on my iPhone. I took my own advice and didn't help.

No..it's something the ad folks work deviously on to get around what the browser coders do.

Ken and this site have nothing to do with that.

yep, i figured that......just assumed it was the ad gurus doin there thing but thought it was in the code itself. my bad.

Doing it again after I inadvertently opened a pic and photo shop web page opened up. In fact it did it twice while typing it.
