  • Sous Vide Supreme

Okay folks, I have been lusting after a sous vide water oven ever since I heard aboot them. Well dammit, I finally pulled the trigger!

I have been shopping and looking and shopping and looking... Should I buy used? Should I buy new? Should I get an immersible vs a bath? Checked ebay and craigslist intensely... missed a good deal on ebay because I f*cked around too long trying to decide... sigh. I finally decided on new, from Amazon.com. Should have it by the end of this week or beginning of next week... I am REALLY excited aboot this!

Yeah, I know it ain't BBQ equipment, butt it's something to be used in conjunction with me outdoor armada.

    Stay tuned...

    Thanks for the info Cheryl!

And thank you Mark for the immersible info!

Yay! You're gonna love it. Might I recommend first thing you do is a steak. NY Strip or Ribeye, season, take it to whatever your cooking temp is, then sear it on a hot grill. My favorite thing to do with it next to the wings, and then there's amazing chicken breasts.
